This fantastic little machine is the 5500AT by Leading Technology. Sporting a 12 MHz 80286 CPU and 2 MB RAM in a compact design, this machine is a great example of some of the innovations often overshadowed by 386 based machines. Including VGA graphics, high-density floppy drives, some onboard IO ports, IDE, and a robust AMI bios to name a few. This machine was acquired locally from it’s original owner. It needed some cleaning, and if you look closely to the power supply photos you will see some nice RIFA capacitors that needed to be removed. Overall this is a great looking system that works perfectly.
