Here we see a nice little HP Palmtop 300LX. Released in 1997, it’s specs were modest – non-backlit greyscale LCD, 2MB storage, and 44MHz CPU running Windows CE 1.0. This was the first handheld in the HP product line to feature Windows CE. Expansion was available through the PCMCIA slot, and communication options included both serial and infrared. The touch screen is resistive, and a stylus is included. The system runs off of 2 AA batteries, or can use an optional AC adapter. Our unit is in excellent physical condition and works perfectly.
